Bad habits or ‘unwanted behaviours’ can be very frustrating. Unfortunately the more annoyed and frustrated we get with ourselves, often the worse the habit or behaviour becomes.
This is because our subconscious is running the programme for the habit or behaviour on automatic pilot. This applies to many of our habits and behaviours both good and bad. The reason hypnotherapy is so effective for changing unwanted habits and behaviours is because hypnotherapy works at the level of the subconscious rather than at the level of the conscious mind.
In relation to other bad habits or unwanted behaviours, I continue to use a combination of hypnotherapy, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and NLP coaching exercises to create positive change for myself. EFT can help very quickly to remove addictions to foods such as chocolate! I have fun demonstrating this to groups who are left in disbelief when they change from initially craving the chocolate bar in front of them to genuinely having no desire for it at all after quite a rapid session of EFT.
I know it is possible to change any unwanted habit or behaviour and also possible to introduce new more positive and welcome habits and behaviours!
I am always available for an initial telephone consultation where we can discuss the habit or behaviour you would like to change. I often use a combination of hypnotherapy, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and NLP coaching to help with most positive changes. The following are some examples of the areas I can help you with:
• Losing weight through healthier eating, which may also include releasing addictions to various unhealthy foods or snacking habits. It is also possible to let go of the emotional reasons for eating.
• Stopping smoking.
• Stopping nail biting and finger nibbling.
• Increasing your desire to exercise and helping you to enjoy it more.
• Releasing addictions.
• Develop your motivation to promote new positive habits.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you. Please e-mail me with your contact details and I will arrange a mutually convenient time to discuss your situation further.
